Such an impressing opening ceremony! Great speakers and a big success with the ABBA-group. Librarians all over the world were dancing to Voulez vous – a fantastic atmosphere in the hall!

We just found out that we are 3342 delegates at IFLA from 128 different countries. Amazing!

Waiting for the Opening Cermony to start… Lots of people from different countrys gathered together eating swedish cars (candy) and carrying Library Lovers bags.

Today and tomorrow I’m assisting the #IFLA2010 preconference Marketing Libraries in a Web 2.0 World, hosted by Stockholm University Library. Tomorrow I will be talking about Kista Idea Lab and our visions about Web 2.0 as a concept and as a marketing and networking tool. Have a look at the presentation. /Åke

Now our Kista Idea Lab Facebook fanpage is up and running. For real! It’s been around for a while but due to some technical issues, and lack of time, we haven’t been talking that much about it. But now we will! If you like what we do, go to Facebook and like us!

Kista Idea Lab is mobile per definition. Next stop is #IFLA2010 and therefore we are emtying our expo space in the Digital Art Center/Kista, temporarily. In Gothenburg we’ll make good use of some of this stuff. Going to be great fun!
